La declaración de Luarca sobre el derecho humano a la paz Adhierete

The President of the AEDIDH was invited by the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation to submit the Declaration of Luarca and discuss its contents at the plenary meeting of the Consultative Council for the Promotion of Peace of the Generalitat of Catalonia which was held in Barcelona on 9 March 2007.

The event was moderated by the Council President Prof. Arcadi Oliveres and attended all members thereof, together with Mr David Minoves i Llucià –Director General of the Co-operation for humanitarian Development of the Generalitat of Catalonia-, Mr Andreu Felip i Ventura -Director of the Catalan Agency of Cooperation and Development of the Generalitat of Catalonia- and officials of the ACCD.

The presentation was very well received by the attendees, who in the debate later identified in the Declaration of Luarca many common aspects to the strategies of the development cooperation carried out by the Council for the promotion of peace in and outside of Catalonia.
